He received his training at American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Prior to his military service he attended Hebron Academy , Hebron, Maine, and graduated from Melrose High School in Melrose, Massachusetts. Dr.Northrup did night club work in Boston and New York...TV in Boston...Stage in Massachusetts, New York, and Florida...appeared in the original production on Broadway of "COURTYARD"

Dr.Northrup has also done extensive radio broadcasting in Maine and Florida
He has appeared in films in Massachusetts, New York ,and Florida.
He has written,produced,and done voice-overs for films in Florida.
And has served as the Central Florida regional auditioner for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Currently, I am also in the process of writing a musical play
about the 1950s, and I'm looking for a collaborator.
